LUCILLE LONDON.png

This antique pendant features a beautifully stylised letter "L", set with four glittering rose-cut diamonds and framed within a delicate white enamelled openwork square. Originally a bar brooch, the piece has been thoughtfully converted into a pendant with the addition of a handcrafted 18ct gold bail (6mm diameter, 1mm thick), giving it fresh wearability while preserving its original charm.

Crafted in bi-metal with a 15ct gold base (confirmed via XRF), the reverse bears a faded "15C" mark alongside other indistinct stamps, one of which may be a maker's mark. The pendant weighs 1.68g and measures 16.5mm long (including bail) by 10.5mm wide.

Note: The original brooch was found in a damaged Cartier box (not included with this piece), and the fine craftsmanship is consistent with early Cartier work. However, no maker’s mark has been conclusively identified.
