LUCILLE LONDON logo

This remarkable Belle Époque-era ring, crafted in the early 1900s, boasts a bold angular design that reflects the elegance and innovation of the era. At its centre is a sparkling old mine cut diamond of approximately 0.75 carats, flanked by two French-cut sapphires in a deep royal blue hue, with one slightly brighter than the other.

The finely engraved openwork mount, fashioned from platinum and 18-carat gold (unmarked but professionally tested), enhances the artistry of this unique piece. Measuring 22mm tall and 10mm wide, the design tapers to 2.5mm at either end, creating a striking angular statement.

Delicately engraved shoulders lead to a sturdy 2mm-wide band, which shows signs of past resizing. The stunning, spready old mine cut diamond has a nibble on a small area of the girdle, while the sapphires exhibit a few tiny surface scuffs due to age without detracting from their beauty or brilliance.

Measuring as a size US 4 (UK H.5) on a mandrel, this striking ring fits more like a US 4.5 (UK I.5) due to the openwork design providing additional comfort. We think it will look incredible worn as a pinky ring!

A timeless piece of history, this ring epitomizes the beauty of Belle Époque craftsmanship and design.
